Welcome to TrendKorea, available at trendkorea.kr (the “Site”). The Site is operated by Robin Lee (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Site. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Site

TrendKorea is an English-language editorial blog that provides general information and commentary about Korean lifestyle, beauty, fashion, culture, entertainment, travel, places, and related trends. The Site currently does not offer paid services, product sales, reservations, user accounts, comments, newsletters, or contact forms.

2. Eligibility and acceptable use

You may use the Site only for lawful personal and non-commercial purposes. You must not:

  • violate any applicable law or regulation;
  • interfere with, disrupt, damage, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, or networks;
  • use automated means to scrape, harvest, reproduce, or systematically download Site content without our prior written permission;
  • remove copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices; or
  • use the Site in a way that infringes another person’s rights or harms the Site or its users.

3. Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, the Site’s original text, layout, graphics, logos, and other original content are owned by or licensed to Robin Lee and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may view, share a link to, and make reasonable personal, non-commercial use of the content. You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit Site content without our prior written permission, except where applicable law permits it.

Third-party names, trademarks, images, and other materials remain the property of their respective owners. Their appearance on the Site does not imply sponsorship, affiliation, or endorsement.

4. Information and third-party links

The Site is provided for general information and entertainment. It does not provide professional advice, and information may become outdated or incomplete. The Site may include links to third-party websites; we do not control or endorse them and are not responsible for their content, availability, products, services, or policies. Please review the Disclaimer for additional important information.

5. Advertising and disclosures

The Site does not currently display paid advertising, but may do so in the future, including through third-party advertising providers. We will identify sponsored content, compensated relationships, gifts, and affiliate links clearly and conspicuously where applicable. Any third-party advertisements or offers are the responsibility of the relevant advertiser or provider, not TrendKorea.

6. No warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that its content will be accurate, complete, current, or fit for a particular purpose.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Robin Lee and TrendKorea will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from or connected with your use of, inability to use, or reliance on the Site or any third-party website. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

8. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Robin Lee and TrendKorea from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Site.

9. Changes, suspension, and termination

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time. We may also update these Terms. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date, and your continued use of the Site after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Site is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Seoul, Republic of Korea, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
